The Group Thing is pleased to offer a belated welcome to our newest members, the team is called aSTRUM and they play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory competitively.
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a free downloadable fps shooter that was released in 2003 by Splash Damage, the game itself is objective based and was initially intended as an expansion to the popular Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
aSTRUM is a six member clan consisting of Solar(cl), Pietje, Favour, Tifus, Synthic and Syko, they practice on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday (between 20 -22) on the TGT ET server and play clanbase official wars too.

The Group Thing enters 2009!
We've had such an awesome run up to this point, and it can only get better from here.
The drive of our members and staff has brought us here!
 So the TGT Staff wants to take this opertunity to thank every single member and guest that has been active in participating on both the server and the community forums! We would not be where and what we are if it weren't for you!
This is all for you guys! Have a couple on us tonight!
2009 should see us with our own dedicated Quad Core 8GB monster, leagues running for all comers and maybe a few surprises!

As Splash Damage are promoting a worthy, if somewhat insane cause, namely Baird's Tapir Project by donating £50 for each mention of their appropriately mentally unhinged christmas cards, we thought we'd make them spend some money!
 So take a look at the card and enjoy the sanity menlting Christmas Cheer from our Strogg stroking pals at Splash Damage, and while you're at it make sure to visit their IRC channel #splashdamage on Quakenet and pester them for news of their latest project and of course the highly unlikely ET:QW 1.6 ;)

Hi Guys
As Christmas approaches, and more importantly our holidays I hope we're all looking forward to festive gaming on the TGT servers!
As you all know we currently support 24 slot, ranked ET:QW, CoD 4 and CoD 5 servers, plus 4 Left4Dead server and we have bookable match servers available on request, however these servers all consume resources and we need you as members of the community to help keep the TGT servers alive and active in the coming year.
To the left of this news you can see a small button marked donate, anything you can spare is deeply appreciated, and in fact if each member of TGT donated only £10 sterling we would have enough funds to last until this time next year!
The TGT staff and admins run the website, forums and servers in their spare time, and it often takes a lot of time to get things running perfectly for our community, in return all TGT needs is a little financial support from each of you.
The Group Thing Needs You!
